Banana-Stuffed French Toast Recipe

Bread-4 slices
Ripe bananas-3( cut into rounds)
Milk-1/2 cup
Cinnamon-1 tsp
Brown Sugar-1 tsp

Preparation method

  1. Melt butter in a heavy bottomed skillet over medium heat.
  2. Once butter is melted add the brown sugar and pinch of cinnamon.
  3. Stir with a wooden spoon until the sugar melts into the butter and becomes a sauce.
  4. Add bananas and toss together. Let cook until the bananas are soft and incorporated into the sauce.
  5. Remove to a bowl and let cool completely.
  6. Butter one side of each slice of bread. On the other side, top with banana mixture.
  7. Add the final piece of sandwich bread.
  8. Repeat process in assembling the other sandwich.
  9. Heat butter in a pan and cook sandwiches over medium heat.
  10. Flip and cook until golden brown.
  11. Serve it hot immediately.
