Boneless Chicken -500 gms
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Lemon juice -1/2 tsp
Salt to taste

Spices For the Coconut Paste

Red Chillies – 8
Coriander seeds -6 TSP
Cumin seeds -1 tsp
Fennel seeds – 2 tsp
Black Pepper corns- 1 tsp
Curry leaves-1/3 bunch

Preparation method

  1. Fry the spices in the dry pan, till it gets nice aroma.
  2. Grind the spices to a smooth paste with the coconut.
  3. Add turmeric, salt and lemon juice to the coconut masala and mix it well.
  4. Add the coconut masala to the chicken pieces and marinate it for an hour.
  5. Heat oil in a pan,add chicken pieces and fry it in a medium flame.
  6. Add few pieces at a time; fry it until it reaches golden brown.
  7. Serve it hot as a starter or as a side dish with rice or roti.
