Eggplant baji


Brinjal-250 grams

Chilli powder-1 tsp

Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp

Hing-1/4 tsp

Garlic paste-1/2 tsp

Gram flour-1/2 cup

Salt to taste


Preparation method:

Wash and cut the brinjal into slices.

Add chilli powder, garlic paste, turmeric, hing, salt  to the gram flour.

Add water and mix it to a dosa batter consistency.

Heat oil in a pan.

Put brinjal slices in the batter and deep fry it in the oil.

Add few at times and cook in a medium flame.

Serve it hot with coconut chutney or chilli sauce.
