Orange rice is simple but very tasty meal.it is a delicious dish you can put together very easily.you can prepare with leftover rice too.Rich in vitamin C .it is similar to lemon rice,but the orange flavor and the aroma of spices leads to say hmmm… Wow!
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
For the Tempering / Tadka:
Urda dal-1/2 tsp
Chana dal-1/2 tsp
- Heat oil in a pan add tempering spices.
- When they splutter, add the orange juice, hing, turmeric powder and salt.
- When it boils add sesame oil and the cooked rice, mix it well
- Serve it hot with the papads.
