Tomato Chutney

Onion-1 medium


Green chillies-4

Salt to taste


For the Tadka:

Mustard-1/2 tsp

Urad dal-1/2 tsp

Curry leaves-2 spring



Preparation method:

  1. Fry the Onions, tomatoes and green chillies in a pan with a drop of oil.
  2. Add it to a blender and make a fine paste by adding water.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, urad dal, curry leaves
  4. Once they splutter add it to the chutney, add salt.
  5. Serve it with hot idly or dosa.
