Garlic cloves-2

Tamarind-lemon size

Ginger-1 inch

Coriander leaves-1 sprig


For the tadka:

Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp

Urad dal-1/2 tsp

Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp

Chana dal-1 tsp

Curry leaves

Preparation method

  1. Heat oil in pan, add the ingredients and sauté it.
  2. Once it done, add it to blender, add salt and make a fine paste.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add tempering spices.
  4. Once they splutter, add the ground paste and cook it till the oil floats on top.
  5. Serve it with rice or roti.
